Berserker's Rage is the second in the Smoke Jumpers series and let me tell you, this series just keeps getting better and better. This is the story of Hal and Felicity.
Hal is a Smoke Jumper, a man with a paranormal secret, he is part Berserker. While the Berserker in him has always lent to his strength, Hal has never quite make peace with his other half, always afraid what will happen if he loses control. One night he is draw in a direction and to a place that he should never been. When he comes across 4 masked men attacking a woman, the Berserker in him rushes to protect her. To his surprise, one of the attackers is a woman, and she gets away, but the badly beaten and barely alive woman on the ground is all that he has eyes for. He has know idea who she is, only that his heart and soul know that she is his.
Felicity wakes up after being attacked, something covering her eyes, in extreme pain, but the only thing that she can think about, the only thing that seems to sooth her is the deep voice of her savior. When after months of not seeing him, dreaming of him, wishing that there was a way that she could find him again, he shows up on her doorstep, the attraction is instant and HOT!
But when a secret from Felicity's mothers past comes back to haunt Felicity, Hal and his fellow Smoke Jumpers will stop at nothing to protect and recover the woman who is the other half of his soul.
I love a great paranormal book, and Elle Boon really knows how to turn up the heat, leave you begging for more. I loved that at the end of this story you get a peak into what is coming with Brax in the next book. I was hooked from the first page to the last and cannot wait for more in the Smoke Jumpers series.

The chemistry between these characters are off the charts. For anyone the loves paranormal writing, this book has everything, elementals, shifters, berserkers, and so much more. I have loved this authors other series and I look forward to more in the Smoke Jumpers series
