racing and my toes curling. This is the story of Alexis and Cobra.
Alexis is the good girl, the one that has her path planned out in life, she is strong, she is independent and she does not need a man or a relationship to distract her. That is until the night that she and her bestie are out at a club and she runs into the man that will change her life.
Cobra is the VP of the Crusaders MC. He has secrets that he has never shared with anyone. Afraid that if his brothers ever found out about his past that would throw him out for good. The night that he meets Alexis, there is an instant connection for him. He wants her and he wants her bad. Inviting her and her friend to the MC beach party seems like a great way to get to know her and get in her pants.
But when a rival MC looking to take down the Crusaders MC causes problems, Alexis and her friend are in danger, it will bring out the protective side of Cobra and will force him to face the demons from his past if he wants to have a future with the one woman that he can't let go of.
I loved the angst, the thrill of suspense, the conflict and the resolution to this wonderful story. It kept me glued to the book from start to finish. Cobra and Alexis are so good together, they understand each other and trust each other in ways that they could not be understood by anyone else. Not to mention that they are HOT together, they chemistry is off the charts.
I loved reading this first book in the Crusaders MC series and look forward to more from this author and in this series.
