Blog Tour ~ Remember Love (The Forever Love Series #1) by Riley Rhea

Review for Remember Love (The Forever Love Series #1) by Riley Rhea

What can I say about this book that would do it the justice that it deserves.  This book is about allowing the person that you love more than life itself the time, space and freedom to "Remember Love".  This book moved me, it made me laugh, it made me cry, it made me believe that love never ends.  Allow me to tell you a little about this AMAZING book.

This is the story of Tucker and Brenna.  They have been best friends forever and then they weren't anymore and Brenna never understood why.  Now she is finishing up with school and returning home to try to figure out what to do with her life, what she didn't count on was running into Tucker again.
Tucker has loved Brenna since the moment he laid eyes on her, but knowing that she was younger than he is, he decided to wait until the time was right.  But Tucker waited too long and thought that he might have lost his chance with Brenna, until she shows up again.  Now all he needs to do is give her time and help her remember the love that they shared and the promises that they made before she went away.
This is one of the sweetest, most amazing stories that I have had a chance to read in a very long time.  For a first time author, Riley Rhea hit this one out of the park.  I look forward to many more stories from this amazing author.

They say you can never go home again. Brenna James is about to finish her final year of college when a visit home could change everything. Fate was pushing her towards her childhood best friend, Tucker, leaving Brenna no other option than to remember memories from a time once forgotten. Can Tucker slip himself into her heart? Will he be able to show her his feelings? The biggest question is, can Tucker help Brenna remember love? The book has sexual situations and language intended for ages 18 & up.

Cover Reveal ~ 'Someone to Love' (The Forever Love Series #2) By Riley Rhea

Someone to Love (The Forever Love Series #2)

Spencer Jacobs thought his life was pretty damn perfect. He had a good job, a long-time girlfriend, and a bright happy future ahead. That is, until that fateful night when he walked in and saw the ultimate betrayal between the woman he loved and his own twin brother. After having his heart ripped open by the two people he trusted most, Spencer fled his hometown in search for a new life.
Befriending Tucker Wade in this sleepy town had proven to be a good thing. Tucker had given him a job and a new beginning. He thought he needed time to heal, but even after the two years, he still hadn’t gotten over the pain of what that night had cost him. Spencer doesn’t believe that he will ever be able to trust anyone again with his heart, let alone to ever love again.  That is, until the fateful day Lexi Allen walked in his life. The spunky redhead had the ability to bust down that fortress he had built around his heart, leaving him questioning everything he thought he ever knew about himself.
Lexi Allen has never been in love. She has always held out for that special person, that special someone that she can give her whole heart to. The day hunky Spencer Jacobs walks in her life, she quickly realizes that he just may be that person. The only problem is, he’s broken and he can’t offer her anything more than a good time.
Will Lexi and Spencer ever find someone to love?
Teaser for 'Somone to Love' by Riley Rhea (unedited and subject to change)

“He’s very handsome.” My mom says quietly beside me.

“Who?”

“Well both of them are actually, but I was referring to Spencer.”

I turn in my chair to look at my mom who is looking at me like she knows exactly what I’m thinking.

How do moms do that?

“Yes he is,” I reply to her while turning back around to continue watching everyone.

Well, maybe not everyone. I am really only watching one right now. He must feel my eyes on him because he turns to grin at me. It’s obvious he knows I’d been watching him. He winks at me then turns his attention back to the men.

“Interesting.” Mama mutters beside me.

“What’s interesting?”

“Oh, I don’t know. Maybe the way you two look at each other, but yet you’re only friends. Or the fact that your cheeks are flushed from just one little smile and wink from him. I’ve never seen you have this reaction before.”

No, she hasn’t, because I’ve never met anyone that affected me like Spencer does. Mama knows that I am holding out for the right guy for me. I want what she and dad have and Brenna and Tucker. I don’t want a man to love me for a little while with only half of his heart. I want his whole heart, with no memories of past ghosts haunting him. I will not share him with anyone, past or present. I’m greedy like that.

“If you want him Lexi, then fight for him. Help him heal. Open your heart to him. Show him how it is to really be loved.”

“I don’t even know what happened to him.”

“Well then, Alexia, I suggest you figure it out.” She never uses my real name, unless she means business. “Trust me, it may be a bumpy ride but the end result will make it all worthwhile.”
“Thanks Mama.” I say to the woman who has always had my best interest at heart. She smiles and pats my hand as I lean over and place a kiss on her cheek.

Hot, Sexy, Beautiful Bitch by Christina Lauren will keep you coming back for more!

Hot, Sexy, Beautiful Bitch by Christina Lauren will keep you coming back for more!

If you enjoyed the first book in the Beautiful Bastard Series, than you will definately want to pick up Beautiful Bitch by Christina Lauren. This is the follow-up novella and it was awesome. This novella gives you a look into what has been happening with Bennert Ryan and Chloe Mills since the end of Beautiful Bastard. Still told from both points of view, we get great flash backs of what happened a after they got back together, and what their life has been like since they became a couple.

Chloe and Bennet are both working long hours, traveling and missing each other like crazy. It seems like anytime they try to carve a little time out for each other, there is some type of emergency that interrupts. When Bennet surprises Chloe with a 3 week vacation at a French Villa, you have to know that things for Chloe and Bennet will not run a smooth course.

I loved this novella as much as I enjoyed the first book. Even though they are now a couple, that does not mean that it is smooth sailing for them, and that leads to the wonderful fights and othere activities that are so Chloe and Bennet. This novella also sets you up perfectly for the next book in the serise. I can not wait to read more in this series and I look forward to more Chloe and Bennet.

This Fragile Life will change you in ways you never thought possible.

This Fragile Life by Kate Hewitt

OMG! Ladies grab a box of Kleenex and get ready for one of the most moving, most poinent books that I have ever read. This Fragile Life by Kate Hewitt is not your typical HEA. This is a story of the true bonds of friendship, love, loss and finding out just how strong you can be when you don't think that you can carry on. Let me tell you a little about this AMAZING read.

This is the story of Martha and Alex. Good friends since they were children but as different as day and night. Martha is the friend that has the perfect job, the perfect marriage, the perfect life by all apperances, except after 5 rounds of IVF she and her husband Rob still can not get pregnant. Alex is the friend that is a free spirit, she comes and goes as she pleases, lives in a 6 flight walk-up. Her life , her apartment, and her emotions are not set up for a pregnancy. When Martha approaches Alex and asks if she and Rob can adopt the child Alex is carrying, you learn just how far one person will go for the love of a friend.

Ok, what I really loved about this book, was the way that Kate Hewitt wrote the book from both perspectives. The book is a chapter by chapter back and forth between Martha and Alex. You really get an indepth look at what each of these women are thinking, feeling, hoping, fearing throughout the book. There is a HUGE twist to this book and I swear you might not like some of the characters, how they react, what they say and do, but as you read, you begin to understand why things happen the way that they did, how these characters find the stenght and support to keep moving forward, and just how strong the bonds of family and freindship really are.

I love EVERYTHING about This Fragile Life. When I tell you that you will need a box of Kleenex I am not kidding, this book will take you through the gamit of emotions, but keep reading. You will not be able to put this book down and you will truly be changed in ways you never imagined. I would HIGHLY recommend this book to all my friends, family, co-workers and as a pick for any book club. I hopw that you pick up a copy and enjoy this moving story as much as I did.

Overview:

You love your best friend. You trust her with your life. But could you give her the most precious gift of all? Alex’s life is a mess. She’s barely holding down a job, only just affording her apartment, and can’t remember when she was last in a relationship. An unexpected pregnancy is the last thing she needs. Martha’s life is on track. She’s got the highflying career, the gorgeous home and the loving husband. But one big thing is missing. Five rounds of IVF and still no baby. The solution seems simple. Alex knows that Martha can give her child everything that she can’t provide. But Martha’s world may not be as perfect as it seems, and letting go isn’t as easy as Alex expected it to be. Now they face a decision that could shatter their friendship forever. Provocative. Emotional. Affecting. Share This Fragile Life with your best friend

Goodnight Tweetheart is one of the best books I have read this year

Goodnight Tweetheart by Teresa Medeiros

OMG! What can I say about this amazing book. I loved the movie "You Got Mail" with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan, and after reading the description for "Goodnight Tweetheart" I downloaded a copy to my kindle. I am SO happy that I did.

Abby Donovan is a first time author who's book went to the top of the NYT Best Sellers list, was a Oprah Book Club pick and almost won the Pulitzar. She has been working on her second book for so long that her publisher drops her. Stuck on Chapter 5, she fears that she was a one hit wonder. That is when her agent sets her up with a Twitter account so that she can converse with her readers, get her name out there, and possibly get new followers/stalkers/predators.

Mark Baynard is a English Professor at Ol' Miss on sabatical to see the world and write the next American Novel. By chance he meets Abby on Twitter and the two of them strike up funny, whitty, ROLFLMBO banter that keeps the reader hooked. From Mark teaching Abby "Twitter 101", to "Twitter Dates", to "Views from his iPhone and her Laptop", this story made me roll for the first 12 chapters. But Mark is hiding a HUGE secret that broke my heart, his heart and Abby's as well. I don't want to give it away, so there will be no spoilers, but I can promise you that if you hang on till the end, these "Tweetheart" will find a HEA.

I am so greatful that I picked up a copy of "Goodnight Tweetheart". I would recommend this book to all my friends, my family and anyone that just wants to curl up with a really really really GREAT book. I will be looking for more from this author.

Overview:

In Goodnight Tweetheart, now with an exclusive new epilogue, Teresa Medieros tells a poignant and engaging story in a groundbreaking style.
Can two strangers who meet (and tweet) by chance find a love strong enough to last a lifetime? That’s the question former literary sensation Abby Donovan is forced to explore when she meets Mark Baynard on Twitter. Mark, an English professor traveling the world, shatters Abby’s writer’s block one witty tweet at a time. Just as she begins to write and live again, she discovers Mark is hiding a secret that could change both of their lives forever. In the tradition of Sleepless in Seattle and You’ve Got Mail, two lonely people discover it doesn’t take 140 characters to find your soul mate, just three little words.

Review for Geek Girls Don't Date Dukes

Geek Girls Don't Date Dukes by Gina Lamm - Book 2 in the Geek Girls Series

Geek Girls Don't Date Dukes by Gina Lamm is the second book in the Geek Girls Series and is just as wonderful and funny as the first book.

"I don't have anything if I don't have you!

Leah Ramsey is a Theatrical Teacher and best friend of Jamie Marten (star of book one). After her ex asks her to be a bridesmaid in his upcoming wedding, Leah is beginning to think that she will never find the right man for her. All she wants is to find a man who will respect, protect, and love her, much like her best friend Jamie found in her new husband Micah (Mike) Axelby, Earl of Dunnington. When Jamie's "fairy godmother", Mrs. Knightsbridge shows up and offers Leah the chance to travel through the "magic mirror" of the 200 year old bureau to find her true love in the house hold of Duke of Granville, she jumps at the chance to find her one true love.

"'I love you Leah,' he whispered. 'I shall never love another as I love you.'

Avery Russell, valet of the Duke of Granville, is busy cleaning the Dukes boot and making sure that the new bureau recently purchased is setup to the Dukes specifications. Imagine his surprise when a beautiful angel falls through the mirror and into his arms stating he is her one true love. After speaking to Leah and knowing that she has set her heart on marrying the Duke, Avery will stop at nothing to help her achive her goal, even if it breaks his heart.

Avery knows that he is not good enough for Leah, she deserves so much more than he could ever offer her. But as Avery and Leah soon learn the heart wants what the heart wants. But when a secret from Avery's past puts Leah in danger, will Avery be able to keep her safe, or will he lose the "angel" who brings light into a life that has been darkened for too long?

"'Love me forever?' Her tears glittered like jewels on her reddened cheeks.
'As you wish,' he wispered as she disappeared.

I loved this story. I was lucky enough to read books one in this amazingly funny series, and book two is just a wonderful. I fell in love with Leah and Avery. All Leah wants is to find that one person that will be her soft place to land, that will love her with everything in him. Avery has not had any love or compassion since the death of his mother. Try as he might to make something of his life and move away from his past, it keeps coming back to haunt him at every turn. I love how these two accepted the things, one about the other, that neither thought anyone would be able to look past. It was just a love that was ment to be. I would highly recommend this book to all my friends.

Book overview:

All Leah wanted was a little gallantry. But in this day and age, chivalry was most definitely dead. If only there were a way to travel back in time and snag her very own duke...
Avery Russell was polishing some boots when a woman fell through the bedchamber mirror into his arms. All he could make out from her breathless babbling was some nonsense about "my one true love, Your Grace." Clearly the chit was mad if she couldn't tell a valet from a duke!
As much as Avery wanted to give in and give her a good tumble, he knew it wouldn't be proper. No, he'd take as long as necessary to convince Leah that sometimes a duke just won't do.
