In Rocky Mountain Wedding (Heart of the Rockies #3.5) by Sara Richardson we get one more chance to visit the Walker Mountain Ranch and all of the wonderful people that have made this series such a joy to read. We are all welcomed back in the conclusion of the series to celebrate the wedding of Ruby and Sawyer.
Ruby and Sawyer are getting married in just a few days. They are also adopting little Brookie, helping her settle into life with them. They have a ways to go, and things are not always smooth sailing, but with their love for each other and the love that that they have for little Brookie, they know that they will make it.
When Ruby and Sawyer get the news that they never thought they would ever receive, they are over the moon, but afraid of what this will do to Brookie as she is still so unsure and untrusting that she will be staying with them, that they really want her as their daughter. When the news is revealed and Brookie runs away. It will put Ruby and Sawyer to the test. When an emergency strikes Ruby, it will take all of the love and support that their friends and family can give to see Ruby and Sawyer through to the other side.
It was such a bittersweet novella to read, knowing that this series was ending. You could read this as a stand alone, but I would recommend at least reading the previous book to get the background on Ruby and Sawyer. In the end, the HEA has me in tears. With a beautiful wedding and bright future for everyone on the Walker Mountain Ranch it was the perfect ending to an amazing series. 5 Amazing Stars!
Sara Richardson grew up chasing adventure in Colorado's rugged mountains. She's
climbed to the top of a 14,000 foot peak at midnight, swum through Class IV
rapids, completed her wilderness first-aid certification, and spent seven days
at a time tromping through the wilderness with a thirty-pound backpack strapped
to her shoulders.
Eventually Sara did the responsible thing and got an education in
writing and journalism. After a brief stint in the corporate writing world, she
stopped ignoring the voices in her head and started writing fiction. Now she
uses her experience as a mountain adventure guide to write stories that
incorporate adventure with romance. Still indulging her adventurous spirit,
Sara lives and plays in Colorado with her saint of a husband and two young
